For the Shrimp:
- 1 lb large shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tsp paprika
- 1/2 tsp chili powder
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- 1 tbsp lemon juice
For the Cheesy Rice:
- 1 cup long-grain rice
- 2 cups chicken broth (or water)
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 tbsp butter
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- Fresh parsley for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- Marinate the Steak: Toss steak cubes with olive oil, garlic, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper. Marinate for 15-20 minutes.
- Marinate the Shrimp: Toss shrimp with olive oil, garlic, paprika, chili powder, salt, pepper, and lemon juice. Marinate for 10 minutes.
- Cook the Rice: Boil rice in chicken broth, simmer until tender. Stir in butter, garlic powder, and cheese. Season with salt and pepper.
- Grill the Steak: Preheat grill. Grill steak for 4-5 minutes per side until cooked to desired doneness. Let rest.
- Grill the Shrimp: Grill shrimp for 2-3 minutes per side until pink and opaque.
- Assemble: Serve steak and shrimp over cheesy rice. Garnish with parsley if desired.

- You can substitute brown rice or another type of cheese.
- If grilling is not an option, use a skillet to cook the steak and shrimp.
